GBAPS

Congratulations to the Green Bay Area Public School District winners of the 29th annual Brown County MLK Community Celebration K-12 Contest! This community contest was open to all school-age children (K-12) to submit an illustration, creative writing, or narrative to share based on the theme, "bridging cultures, celebrating differences."

This year's GBAPS winners were:

• Ashton Marienthal, Tank Elementary School - 1st place in Grades K-3 (poster)
• Valentina Espinosa, Baird Elementary School - 2nd place in Grades K-3 (poster)
• Sofia Rodriguez, Tank Elementary School - 3rd place in Grades K-3 (poster)
• Swaranjana Yadav, Leonardo da Vinci School for Gifted Learners - 1st place in Grades 4-6 (essay)
• Gisell Ponce Prieto, Edison Middle School - 1st place in Grades 7-9 (poster)
• Ezmirilda Estupinian, Edison Middle School - 2nd place in Grades 7-9 (poster)
• Madeline Juelich, Edison Middle School - 3rd place in Grades 7-9 (poster)
• Jaden Spitzer, Preble High School - 1st place in Grades 10-12 (poster)
• Jace Froehlich, Northeast Wisconsin School of Innovation - 3rd place in Grades 10-12 (poster)
